I have a mid 00's Passat that's snapped a spring. This is the third car in a row (granted, they've all been shitters) that I've had to repair suspension on.
And it's about time I tried to get the ...

Smith and who? Will have to have a listen. I find it really hard to find any good car podcasts. Maybe I should start a thread on here for Podcast suggestions and sticky it?

Re: Hybrid BMW M5 - Chris Harris Review
I know what you mean. I cannot see how that much weight is not noticeable in the corners, though I guess all new sports cars have super smart suspension that might counteract it?
I used to love Chris Harris, though I read his book and he comes across as a bit of a rich boy in it (even though he ...

Re: Electric Car Thoughs?
I was thinking more any future issues with software, sensors, programming etc.
Which make me think, what happens when you buy a newer car run by 500 ECUs, and the company stops supporting or stops updating the software?

Re: Electric Car Thoughs?
Good point on the second hand market.
I do wander what maintenance costs outside of warranty will look like. There are some examples of some super high mileage Tesla's, but no mention as to what the overall cost of running was (200k with no battery replacement).
Not that I'd buy a Tesla.

I do like Chris Harris on Cars, and the latest video is the new M5. I do not really mind the looks on the outside, and the drivetrain sounds very interesting and cool. but the interior is not my ...

Electric Car Thoughs?
I have mixed feelings about the whole Electric car movement.
It seems like they are the best move from an environmental point of view (I read a report on the comparison of lifecycles of all eclectic vs; hybrid vs. ICE and Electric was the best even when including energy for creation and excluding ...

Cheers Chris. I've heard Tiger seal is what to use, but then conflicting reports that just black sealant is fine too.
