I drove over a HUGE pothole on the A35 once. I had to get Mr Volkscraft to put on a headaed paper that the pothole had caused daamge to my car and sent it off to the relivent council. They basically said thanks for sending this in, but we dont care and case closed. Never saw a dime

Bring the hate - but in the past I have put a thin bead of tiger seal on the mating surfaces, mount together loosely, then more tiger seal around the joins, leave for a bit and then tighten to 'spec'. But I always have issues with sealing so maybe don't listen to me!
