Twin Weber 16v Air Filters

Post by monzadave »

Right-o

I need a new set of filters for the Jetta as the ones I have (Pipercross) are being sucked into the trumpets and are killing power and driveability.

So, what are my options? K&N do some cage like ones, but are there any fancy options like airboxes for the carbs fed from a cold air pipe?

I always wanted to get one of these when I was running Weber Carbs on my setup

I think I need that water outlet over anything else first. The water pipe to the rad is literally touching the trumpets and is way too close to the body of the carb to fit any filter on at the moment.

Can't move the radiator over a touch? To be fair.. to fix all of these issues you should just go Jenveys!
