Hello all,
Anyone got any advise on trying to claim for repairs to suspension due to potholes?
I have a mid 00's Passat that's snapped a spring. This is the third car in a row (granted, they've all been shitters) that I've had to repair suspension on.
And it's about time I tried to get the council to pay on account for the number of potholes I traverse daily on the way to work.
Any advise much appreciated

Re: Another Broken Spring - Pothole Advise
I drove over a HUGE pothole on the A35 once. I had to get Mr Volkscraft to put on a headaed paper that the pothole had caused daamge to my car and sent it off to the relivent council. They basically said thanks for sending this in, but we dont care and case closed. Never saw a dime

Bloody frustrating all the same Dave!. The roads around me are crap too. I put some refurbished 19’s on the van in December, the rears have taken a pounding and now need rebalancing already, I have literally drive like 100 miles on them!

Up this way, there was a huge pothole that formed on an A road, must have taken out at least 12-15 cars.
I'm following a FB thread on it, so far not one compensation claim has been paid out.

I am not surprised.
Go spray a massive cock around it and see how fast it gets repaired lol.
Have you seen the guy going around with soil and plants and planting them in potholes? Legend lol.
